THE MISERABLE MOTHER is writer-director Susanne Heinrich’s second feature film after her debut AREN’T YOU HAPPY? (DAS MELANCHOLISCHE MÄDCHEN) premiered at the 2019 Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival where it won the prize for Best Film.
